ABOUT CDAC

The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) is the premier research and development organization under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). It focuses on IT, Electronics, and related fields. C-DAC's Education and Training programs aim to create skilled professionals in Electronics and ICT through high-quality training. Over the years, the training capacity has grown from 20 students per year to over 5000, with about 50 training centres in India and international presence. C-DAC also develops ICT tools for modern education and training methods. The Academic Council (AC) and Academic Management Committee (AMC) govern and steer the Education and Training activities. Currently, C-DAC provides training through its own centre in Pune and a network of authorized training centres across the country.

C-DAC's placement program serves as a platform for students to showcase their talents to companies seeking skilled individuals. Since 1993, a significant number of graduates have been successfully placed through the program, and this year's performance has been exceptionally good. C-DAC facilitates placement opportunities by inviting companies for a Common Campus Placement Programme. The final placements at C-DAC are the result of consistent interaction with the industry, ongoing career counselling, mentoring, and grooming of the students by the Career Development Centre. Each batch of C-DAC's National Level Common Campus Placement Programme (CCPP) attracts numerous companies, resulting in the successful placement of more than 2000 students.
